Value Compare calculates and compares prices across weight, volume and item quantities. This policy was updated on 26 October 2026.

Information handled by the app

Your prices and quantities are processed on your device and are not sent to the developer. The app stores your light or dark theme preference on your device. Calculations work offline.

Advertising and consent

Value Compare uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for banner advertising and applicable consent choices. AdMob may serve Google ads or, through mediation, ads from Tappx. The advertising SDKs may collect or share your IP address and approximate location, device and advertising identifiers, app and ad interactions, device/app information, network details, and diagnostic or log information. These data may be used to serve and personalise ads where permitted, measure ad delivery and interactions, manage frequency, analyse performance, and detect fraud. The app does not request precise-location, camera, microphone, or storage permission and does not enable Tappx location collection. Tappx says it may process precise location when a publisher enables device-based location; that setting is not enabled in Value Compare. Applicable UMP consent forms and privacy options depend on the provider configuration and the user's region; the app exposes its privacy-options entry point when UMP requires one.

Accounts, sale, and retention

The app has no account system or developer-operated server, and the developer does not receive or retain your entered prices or quantities. Advertising and consent data handled by Google and Tappx is subject to each provider's retention and privacy terms.
